1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to HomeInsurance ("HomeInsurance," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at www.HomeInsurance.com (the "Site"), submitting a quote request, communicating with our agents, or engaging any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site and our services immediately. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and HomeInsurance. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. About HomeInsurance
HomeInsurance operates as an independent insurance agency and brokerage service. We are not an insurance carrier ourselves. Instead, we act as an intermediary between consumers seeking home insurance and licensed insurance carriers that underwrite and issue insurance policies.
We partner with a network of reputable, nationally recognized insurance carriers to provide our customers with a range of coverage options, competitive pricing, and personalized service.
3. Use of Our Website
You may use our Site to:
- Browse information about home insurance products and coverage options
- Submit requests for insurance quotes
- Compare insurance plans and rates from multiple carriers
- Access educational resources about homeowners insurance
- Contact our licensed insurance agents
- Manage your insurance inquiries and communications
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
4. Quote Requests & Information
When you submit a quote request through our Site, by phone, or by email, you provide personal information including but not limited to:
- Your full legal name
- Postal / zip code
- Phone number and email address
- Property details (home type, estimated value, year built, etc.)
- Coverage preferences
By submitting a quote request, you authorize HomeInsurance to share this information with our partner insurance carriers for the purpose of generating accurate insurance quotes. You also consent to being contacted by HomeInsurance and/or our partner carriers via phone, email, text message, or other communication methods regarding your quote request and available insurance products.
5. Insurance Products & Coverage
HomeInsurance offers access to a variety of home insurance products, including but not limited to:
- Standard Homeowners Insurance — Coverage for single-family homes including dwelling, personal property, liability, and additional living expenses
- Condo Insurance — Coverage designed for condominium unit owners
- Rental Property / Landlord Insurance — Coverage for investment and rental properties
- Flood Insurance — Coverage for flood damage through NFIP and private carriers
- Earthquake Insurance — Coverage for seismic events

Actual coverage, terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations are determined solely by the issuing insurance carrier and are outlined in the individual insurance policy. HomeInsurance does not underwrite, adjust, or pay claims. All policies are issued directly by the licensed insurance carrier.
6. Quotes Are Estimates
All insurance quotes provided by HomeInsurance are estimates based on the information you supply and are subject to change. Quotes do not constitute a binding offer of insurance and are not guaranteed until:
- A complete application is submitted to and accepted by the issuing carrier
- Any required inspections, underwriting reviews, or verifications are completed
- The policy is officially issued and the premium is paid
Final premium amounts, coverage terms, and eligibility may differ from the initial quote based on additional underwriting factors, including but not limited to: credit history, claims history, property condition assessments, and additional information discovered during the application process.
7. Third-Party Insurance Carriers
Insurance policies are issued by third-party insurance carriers, not by HomeInsurance. HomeInsurance acts solely as an agent/broker in facilitating the sale of these policies. Each carrier is independently responsible for:
- Underwriting and policy issuance
- Setting premium rates (subject to state regulatory approval)
- Claims handling, adjustment, and payment
- Policy modifications, renewals, and cancellations
- Compliance with state insurance regulations
HomeInsurance is not liable for the actions, omissions, decisions, or financial condition of any insurance carrier. Any disputes regarding policy terms, claims decisions, or coverage interpretations must be resolved with the issuing carrier in accordance with the policy's terms and applicable state law.
8. User Responsibilities
As a user of our Site and services, you agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information in all interactions
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your contact information or property details
- Review all policy documents carefully before purchasing
